- 2009 – Assisted and repaired the budget process utilizing Excel that used many linked spreadsheets, creating checks and balances that gave Sr. Management total confidence that Annual Budgets were up to date and correct.
- 2010 – Created new process in 2010 that eliminated need for Excel spreadsheets being linked together and moved towards interactive Access database that would give all Budget Managers ability to enter budget information, provide Sr. Management with reporting needs at multiple levels of the organization, as well as give accounting the export functionality to get information into Great Plains software, making this database a one stop shop for all departments.
- 2011 – Version 2.0 of the 2010 database that also shows reporting compared to prior year. As a Budget Manager is reviewing their new budget, they can visually compare against the prior year budget. This provides Senior Management with easy tools to identify opportunities when finalizing budgets.

- Created an Excel tool that was used as a time sheet for all non-exempt employees. They were having issues with employees entering time correctly, so we created a VBA coded tool that wouldn’t allow manipulation. The employee was to log all time through the tool but did allow for changes, only by their manager, which was also tracked. This also allowed for Workforce planning as the tool was used to track vacations and other time off. It was also used to submit to HR on a bi-weekly basis with a compiled time that was similar to their prior process. The security implications were very valuable and it saved material hours every two weeks on the supervisors compiling all of their employees time sheets.
- Daily time entry that was set up for an entire year. It used the user id of their login on the computer to ensure it was the right person getting into the file. The amount of security on this file was as much as an Excel file can be. It also used the internal clock of the Server, so that an employee couldn’t alter the time of the computer.
